National Climate Change and Low Carbon Development Strategy for the Government of Rwanda

Professor Okereke was the founding project director of one of the first and most comprehensive national climate change and low carbon development plan developed by an African state. Chukwumerije designed, initiated and managed the project. He wrote the project proposal and negotiated its many technical and intricate details with the funding organizations including Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) DFID Rwanda and the Government of Rwanda (GoR). Chukwumerije brought together a team of over 30 people to work on the project. Members of the team include over eight Research Associates and very high profile figures in the industry, academia, and government.
